Sponsor Thank You! -- Lowbrow Customs!!!!
Without the help of others, this whole R4YL thing wouldn't be possible (well, it would, it just wouldn't be nearly as cool!) Most of our sponsors have been with us since the beginning, graciously offering up their time, services and/or goods every year so that you can go home with some cool shit! This year is no different, and we would like to take a moment to recognize some of the guys that help us out!
Most everyone knows Lowbrow Customs by this point, but Tyler & Company have supported us from the very beginning! It has been really cool to watch a company grow so quickly over the last 8 years, from working out of his own garage, to now having a GIANT building Brunswick, OH. Lowbrow does sooo much more than just peddle parts & shirts. They are constantly hosting events that pull the chopper community together, and supporting so many events just like this one. Their service is second to none, and their customer service makes damn near everyone a repeat customer. We are excited to have Lowbrow back for the 8th year! If you haven't been to their website recently, (get out from under that rock!) get over there and check out all the new parts they are carrying, you won't be dissapointed. Lowbrow Panhead

Mark Your Calendars!
We've been cooking up a fall event, and finally have the flyer and details locked down. Mark your calendars for Saturday September 24th. We will be hosting the 1st annual Parts 'N' Arts show @ the Hammansburg Blues & Arts Center (redbone's Church) near Cygnet, OH. Doors will open at 10 am, vendors can get there earlier to setup. Vendor spots are only $20, but call to reserve them now, as they will likely go fast! This is a real parts swap meet only, NO LEATHER, NO LIFESTYLE bullshit, no candy, etc... Just real, crusty, greazy parts. The way a swap should be. Swap will take place outside, so dress/plan accordingly. Swap meet will run until people close up shop. We will have live music in the church that evening until midnight. Camping will be available on site, free of charge, so plan to stay and party!
We will also be holding an art show inside the church. We prefer the art to be moto-related (bikes, hot rods, tiki, lowbrow, etc...) If you are interested in having work in the show, please give us a call!!! Art show space will also be somewhat limited, so please get your submission in early. Please send a short bio, and some photos/description of your work to overdriveplus@hotmail.com
Finally there will be a Ride-In Bike show, open to anyone on two wheels (or 3 in some cases, but NO can-am spyders please!) There will be a couple awards given out. Parking will be a premium for this event, so if you have a bike, please ride out, it will be much easier for us to deal with a bunch of bikes than a bunch of cars...
OH! there will also be Live entertainment throughout the day from several different bands. Full lineup to be announced soon!

The Shovel's Are Coming!
from the sounds of it, there will be a good representation of Shovelheads at R4YL this year! I think the most we've had in the past is 3, but from the sounds of it, that number is likely to at least triple this year!! I'm super excited that more people are dusting off the old iron for the run this year! Here are just a few of the suspected shovels...
Sponsor Thank You! Filthy Wheels Co.
Without the help of others, this whole R4YL thing wouldn't be possible (well, it would, it just wouldn't be nearly as cool!) Most of our sponsors have been with us since the beginning, graciously offering up their time, services and/or goods every year so that you can go home with some cool shit! Filthy Wheels Co. is a Moto-Centered clothing line based out of Sunny California. They offer custom stickers and shirts, with a full product line coming very soon! This is the first year for Filthy being on board as a sponsor, and we're stoked that Raul stepped up to help. Take a minute and check out their stuff!
Worn tires can say a lot about where you've been. Filthy wheels say another thing altogether.

Chopperfest Part 3
We rolled into Franklin, NC just before dark, soaking wet from the Rain we hit coming through the mountains. We got camp setup just as the band started playing Friday night. Hump & the Blackouts rocked!
Good morning chopperfest
Went out riding Saturday morning for a while, had to stop @ bridal veil falls
got back, layed in the river for a while, and then watched everyone jumping motorbikes

Sponsor Thank You! Lowside Magazine

Lowside Magazine/Syndicate is Based out of Baltimore, MD. Rich and the guys put together a great magazine, chocked full of really cool garage built bikes. The layout and photography in their mags are great! If you've never picked up a copy, you are truly missing out on one of the best chopper/custom bike magazines out there. In addition to the print end of things, they also host some East Coast events, and have a community chop shop located in Baltimore where folks can rent work space, borrow tools, learn fab work and much more! Lowside is as grassroots as it gets, please help support companies that do the same for you! Come to R4YL and get a free copy of the latest from the guys @ Lowside, you won't be dissapointed!
